Perhaps FOUR should have named themselves “Twist,” because when the breadth of talents and depth in experience of this gaggle of local cats got together and started making music, the results were, well, unexpected. It turns out that diverse roots in Pop R&B and Rock can coexist, and with a passion for musicianship, an emphasis on fun and pursuit of the ironic, these FOUR make good on their promise to be something different and even a little special. This band provides very well-executed renditions of some of the most enjoyable tunes in modern times, but the diversity in their set list and original take on some of the most popular songs ever to grace the airwaves is something to be experienced. FOUR’s members come from some of the best local bands including The Big Smoothies, Vehicle, New York Players and a number of professional, respected musical organizations. Make no mistake, these guys aren’t your average bar band. Come out and play with FOUR!
